From September 27th to 28th 2011 the support action ActiveTest organises the "Workshop on collision warning and autonomous braking systems". It will take place at Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge (ika) in Aachen, Germany. Besides other speakers interactIVe will hold the introduction session.
The workshop includes technical sessions, physical testing, and open discussions on how to increase road safety by supporting the introduction of active safety functions. Representatives from industry, research, legislative and regulative bodies as well as from consumer testing programs will join the event.
ActiveTest, initiated by interactIVe partner ika, has the objective to provide a forum for exchange and harmonisation between different automotive initiatives in Europe and worldwide. More information about the support action and the workshop you can find here: www.activetest.eu. The website leads you to the ActiveTest blog, a forum with the latest news on active safety.
