1st General Assembly in Athens

From March 15th to 16th the first General Assembly of the Integrated Project interactIVe took place in Athens, Greece. Conference venue was the National Technical University of Athens (Polytechnio). In two days about 60 participants exchanged information about the project's progress, the ongoing research and development word, and discussed the next steps.

Part of the meeting were separate workshops on "Perception" and "IWI strategies", where in-depth discussions took place. One very important topic was the synchronisation of the work-flow and the coordination of the work contents between the integrating sub-projects, and the OEMs that build-up the demonstrators which mark the cornerstone for tests and evaluations.

Discussions during the workshop on "IWI strategies" confirmed the essential role of the human-machine-interaction for successful implementation of ADAS.

The General Assembly closed with a satisfied consortium that starts highly motivated into a busy second interactIVe year - the year of the equipment of the demonstrator vehicles.
